Upper Junior Sports Day – Thursday 22 June 2017

We are very much looking forward to Upper Junior Sports’ Day on Thursday. Thank- you to all those parents who have offered to help run the first 16 activities- there is plenty of space for any more volunteers. Please could you come to the school hall at 12.45pm to meet me in the hall so that I can explain each activity.

It is due to be a beautiful day so please can all children bring a sun hat and an extra named water bottle. Children are invited to come to school in house colours- we really encourage children to enter into the spirit of sports’ day so the more house colour they can wear, the better!

All children will take place in the first 16 events and parents will be invited to wander around with them as they all gain points for their house. We finish with the sprints, hurdles and relays which are always really nail biting! We aim to start sharp at 1pm and be finished 3pm.

Hope to see you there!

Mrs Giles

Dear parents and carers

All schools in the Bailiwick are required to carry out an annual self evaluation report.

An important part of self evaluation is to listen to what all members of the school community have to say about the school. As parents and carers we ask you to participate by completing this online questionnaire. Please could you complete the questionnaire by the end of July, after this date the questionnaire will close. It will not be possible to trace the source of the online responses as e-mail addresses are not collected or displayed, so confidentiality is assured.

Your help in completing the questionnaire would be of great assistance to the school and we are grateful for your time.

Yours sincerely

Catherine Mason

Weather permitting and with the forecast advising of cooler days and a lower UV index later in the week, sports days have been arranged to take place on the following days:

Dear Parents

With the extreme heat we are currently experiencing please ensure that your child/children come to school with sun screen applied, a sun hat and water to drink.
