New iPads for the school thanks to PTA fundraising

Standard

Children at St Martin’s school will benefit from 9 additional iPads thanks to fundraising efforts by the PTA.

The school PTA has approved a request for the new iPads and cases after a successful series of Christmas events, which raised thousands of pounds after fantastic support from parents, teachers, friends and children.

Here’s a quick excerpt from the school’s prospectus about the use of technology in learning.

“An injection of new iPads has enabled an increase in the creative use of technology; activities such as film making, QR coding and blogging are taking root in teaching and learning,” it says.
