Tickets for next week’s film nights will be on sale from Monday 16^th April. Apologies for not having the tickets ready this week!

For reception, the tickets will be sold on Tuesday 17^th April at the reception entrance before school. Children can also buy tickets ‘on the door’ on Thursday. Tickets cost £3 and include a drink and some popcorn. There won’t be sweets for sale for reception as it is a shorter film.

For years 1 to 6 tickets will be on sale by the office before school (8.30am to 9am) and after school (2.30pm to 3.10pm) from Monday to Friday. The Juniors have a choice to watch either ‘Sing’ or ‘Annie (2014)’ which they need to specify when buying their ticket. There will be sweets available to buy during the interval.

The infants’ film night is on Thursday 19^th April and the juniors’ film night is on Friday 20^th April.

Thank you very much for the fantastic response to the egg decorating competition, the variety of creative ideas were ‘eggstraordinary’!  Congratulations also to the winners from each Year group, Sister Kate was wowed by the time and effort put into each creation.

People can continue to enjoy the display of eggs in the corridor and they will be returned to year group teachers to hand back safely next week for children to take home.  They will also hand out a chocolate treat to everyone who took part as well, to say well done and thank you for supporting the event.

These 8 eggs have no name on them that we can find.  Please go to the office and let the staff know which egg is yours so that it can still be entered into the competition.

Reminder that the final day for returning eggs is Monday 5th March before school. Please bring your decorated eggs with NAME and YEAR GROUP to the tables by the swimming pool door.

PTA Newsletter Spring Term 2018-wa8qph

Next week, children will be told about an egg decorating competition where they will be in with a chance of winning an Easter themed prize after the half term break!

 

It is £2.00 to enter and School Councillors will help to sell the polystyrene eggs in their class.  Each person will get a chocolate treat upon return of their decorated egg after half term.  (More details will follow about a return date and where to hand in the eggs) 

 

Take the egg home and decorate it however you like, with whatever materials you like!  The more creative and colourful the better.  The winner and runners up will be chosen from each year group.  

 

Eggs will be sold in classrooms Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th February 

There is limited stock of eggs, so it is ‘first come, first served’!
