Hello from Sister Kate!
We’ve had a very quiet start to our Year 3 SMASH club on Tuesdays, and our Year 4 Lighthouse club on Thursdays run by Sister Kate, Tim and volunteers from local churches. Did you miss our emails?
There are lots of spaces for people to join us on both days. Do let us know if you’re interested! Don’t worry about missing the first one – there’s still lots to do 😉
Tuesdays 3:00 – 4:00 SMASH – Year 3’s – Main Hall
Art-based after school club – this term we’ll be looking at a different crafting skill each week making a pop-up book from lots of stories from the Bible that Jesus told. We start with a game, share yummy snacks and listen to a story while we eat, then work on a craft together. You’ll end up with a homemade book that would make a great Christmas present for a friend or sibling 😉
Thursdays 3:00 – 4:15 – Year 4’s – Drama & Music room
Drama-based after school club – We meet in the library for something to eat and listen to a story while we wait for the bus children to vacate the drama room. We become Secret Agents and explore using spy codes to read and send messages to each other!
Each week we will learn new drama skills by playing funny warm-up games and reproduce different Bible stories using different drama techniques.
